When is the first Klassiker of the season?

Bayern Munich hosts Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on 31 October 2026 for the first Klassiker of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season, with the return leg later at Dortmund's Westfalenstadion.

Going to a match in Munich

Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena was the first stadium in the world built with a full colour-changing exterior, glowing red for the home side. When it opened in 2005 it could also turn blue for co-tenant 1860 Munich, whose tenancy ended in 2017 and left Bayern the arena's only club.

Tickets for the bigger clubs sell through official channels first and appear on resale later, so prices move week to week — we track both and show the cheapest available seat per fixture. Smaller grounds usually stay on general sale right up to kickoff.
