What is a Passolig card, and do I need one?

Passolig is Turkey's mandatory stadium-entry ID card, registered to one club, and Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş all sell tickets only to a valid cardholder registered to that specific club — a visitor without one typically has to go through hospitality or the resale market instead.

Why is the Galatasaray–Fenerbahçe fixture called the Intercontinental Derby?

Galatasaray play on the European side of the Bosphorus and Fenerbahçe on the Asian side, so their meeting literally crosses continents — which is where the fixture's nickname comes from.

When does the Süper Lig season run?

Turkey's top flight runs from August to May; the 2026/27 season begins on 14 August 2026 and finishes on 23 May 2027.
