Do I need a PSG membership to buy match tickets?
Club membership through MyParis gives priority access to sale windows, and for the biggest fixtures — Le Classique against Marseille above all — season-ticket holders and members are served first, with general sale opening only afterwards if seats remain.
Why is a French national stadium in Paris but not PSG's ground?
The Stade de France was built for the 1998 World Cup in Saint-Denis, just outside the city, specifically as a national venue for the France team and major finals rather than as a club's permanent home.
When does Ligue 1's season run?
France's top flight runs from August to May; the 2026/27 season kicks off on 21 August 2026 and concludes on 29 May 2027.
Going to a match in Paris
Paris Saint-Germain plays at the Parc des Princes, while the national side and Europe's biggest occasions use the much larger Stade de France just north of the city in Saint-Denis, built for the 1998 World Cup. PSG itself has never called the Stade de France home.
